Language, citizenship, and creative programs designed to empower and connect women.
Free small-group classes run five days a week to build everyday English skills in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension. Participants gain confidence, form friendships, and feel more connected to local culture. Supportive volunteer teachers make learning relaxed, accessible, and empowering.
Weekly classes help women prepare for the Australian citizenship test and understand rights, responsibilities, laws, and values. Sessions offer clear guidance through the citizenship process in a friendly, engaging environment. The program strengthens confidence, community connection, and participation in Australian life.
Weekly classes support migrant women in maintaining and developing skills in their native languages, including Dari, Pashto, and Arabic. Lessons are led by volunteers from within the community, fostering literacy, confidence, and cultural connection. The program strengthens family identity and encourages participation in community life.
Small, hands-on sessions teach practical sewing and creative skills, building independence and confidence. Participants learn basics like stitching and garment repair, while exploring projects that encourage creativity and collaboration. These activities nurture friendships, cultural exchange, and pathways to personal use, small business, or community craft projects.
